Job Opportunity: Certified Tumor Registrar (Bronx, NY).
Position: Immediate need for an experienced Certified Tumor Registrar for a 3 months contract.
Details:
Title: Certified Tumor Registrar.
Duration: 3 Months.
Shift:8:00 AM-4:00.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Three years experience Tumor Registry experience in an acute care hospital or equivalent abstracting experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.
Certifications & Licenses:
- Tumor Registry certification (CTR).
- Medical Terminology.
- RHIA (or eligible), RHIT (or eligible).
Minimum Degree Required:
- Completed High School (Diploma or GED)
